No one is wearing a flat cap today, so the people on Westhoughton's Market Street seem to have sorted their wardrobes for this heatwave.
Sometimes I wonder about the wisdom of visiting this small Market Street so frequently because occasionally some people are suspicious of photographers, or photographers carrying a camera rather than a phone with a camera. Today, however, the opposite happened - the two women crossing the road in front of me laughed and waved to attract my attention. Perhaps I should be less paranoid.
