Wigan Town Centre, 03 June 2026

Wigan town centre is undergoing serious redevelopment, which does little to encourage visitors, but hopefully the result will attract them. In the meantime, there are always people coming and going, come rain or shine.

It is also interesting to see the differences between how younger and older people dress, and not just the different fashions. It is June, but you would never know from looking at older people's clothing and even some of the youngsters aren't dressed for mid-summer.
